    New Staff Training 1 pm-4 pm

    This session gives an overview of the AgrAbility Program for new staff members, those wanting a refresher or those wishing to learn about AgrAbility. Some topics covered include a perspective from USDA, the role of the National Project, resources available, evaluation procedures, and sources of help inside and outside AgrAbility. Participants will also have opportunities to network with one another, NAP staff, and USDA contacts.

  • Worksite Assessment, Secondary Injury  and AT Selection 1 pm-4:30 pm

    Worksite Assessment, Secondary Injury and AT Selection 1 pm-4:30 pm

    This preconference professional development session will explore the process of conducting an agricultural worksite assessment, the potential for secondary injuries when using assistive technology on the farm, the selection of AT and modifications, and sources of AT and modifications. The session will also cover the contents of the updated Agricultural Worksite Assessment Tool for Farmers and Ranchers with Disabilities and a new tool for assessing AT safety.

    Mental Health First Aid 9 am-4:30 pm Cut off for registration for this session is February 22nd

    MHFA is designed to increase knowledge and build skills to help someone who is experiencing mental health problems. The training includes information about signs and symptoms of mental health problems and provides opportunities to practice response skills for specific types of problems. Participants are trained to provide informed, caring support and to suggest and connect people to community resources.
    Participants complete 2 hours of self-paced online coursework within the MHFA Connect training system before attending the instructor-led training through an in-person session. This session does not include lunch. You will have an hour break to get lunch on your own.

  • Boots to Business Reboot 9 am-4:30 pm

    Boots to Business Reboot 9 am-4:30 pm

    This session will assist veterans in understanding the steps, stages, and activities related to launching and growing a business as a post-military career. It will also help participants understand how business ownership might align (or not) with their own personal strength and life goals.
    It will also provide introductory training and orientation to the fundamental tools and strategies associated with executing on plans to launch a new business. $0 fee- lunch may be on your own

Cancellation Policy

Full refunds are available before February 28th .  Between February 28th and March 14th, you will incur a $100 processing fee. Cancellations after March 14th are not eligible for a refund
